To select others, press and hold the CTRL key while  clicking on the pictures to be selected. You also can use the wheel click of your mouse to select (or deselect) several pictures. To select adjacent pictures, select the first picture of the group, then while holding down the SHIFT key, click on the last picture of the group. To select all the pictures of the list, press and hold the CTRL key, and press the A key.
